As can be seen from the links below, this issue is damaging An Post's reputation abroad. I imagine It could have been handled better than this. Surely someone could have seen where this was going to go . This poor woman traumatised with guns, then sacked as well!

From the Examiner "The husband of a postmistress in Co Donegal last night claimed that An Post have completely ignored their calls for better security around their homes."
An Post should take note of this and avoid History repeating itself, even though the cause of the conflict may differ it seems to be going in the same direction, with lots of local support for the postmistress.
