If your earnings have fallen below a certain level you may qualify for family income supplement.


Medical and Drugs Scheme to include FTSP workers

In discussion with CWU An Post has agreed to include all new employees that work in areas covered by the scheme on satisfactory completion of their probationary period of six months. This will also include FTSP workers. This agreement begins on the first day of January 2009. Well done CWU, something positive to redress the discrepency in the conditions of colleagues who basically do the same job.

Cycle to work scheme (budget)

From 1 January 2009, the provision of bicycles and associated safety equipment by employers to employees who agree to use the bicycles to cycle to work will be treated as a tax exempt benefit-in-kind.
