This is the time of year to prepare for classes in education. We have put up links to a number of sites which should be helpful in this regard. There are thousands of interesting courses out there and a lot of very good courses are available through Third level institutions, Instutes of technology VEcs to mention a few.

National Centre for Guidance in Education This is probably the best site to start with and I have linked to the links page Here which links to all the important sites that you need for information on all aspects of education.

QualifaX is Ireland’s National Learners’ Database. It is the “one stop shop” for learners. they provide comprehensive information on further and higher education and training courses. QualifaX became part of the National Qualifications Authority in January 2008. AONTAS is the National Adult Learning Organisation. If you are thinking of going back to learn but not quite sure where to start? The AONTAS Information Booklet tells you all you want to know about the world of adult education - from entry criteria to different funding options. You can contact AONTAS and request a copy of the booklet here it is also available online on their site.
