Talking with a number of Post office people throughout the country our researcher is finding that the general thoughts are that the Unions are going to tell us: Its a very poor time to be looking for the ESOP shares -the current economic climate is very poor - we are lucky to have jobs etc etc.
We say if this is the case why did we not get the shares when the celtic tiger was running riot in Ireland.Surely if now is a bad time to be looking for shares a few years ago was a great time to look for them. If anyone out there has any evidence that there were efforts made to get them then lets know.
We have no evidence that efforts were being made until lately.
