I disagree that members with 40 years’ service should be given honorary membership. If they are members of the C W U they should pay their share of the burden.

CWU transparency and General Secretaries salary

The General Secretary of the CWU is not doing the union any favours by failing to disclose his salary. This projects the image of the union as being secretive.

Neither wore a watch and what struck me even years ago was the both never seemed to be in any kind of rush. To put it plainly neither would be considered to be a sprinter more a pair of long distance chasers.
