"Scanlon may face €50k demand from communications union

Angry officials at the Communications Workers' Union (CWU) plan to demand the return of around €50,000 from their former general secretary, Con Scanlon.
Scanlon formally left his CWU post on Friday, around Three months after The Sunday Business Post revealed he planned to quit the union.
He begins a €220,000-a- year job as manager of the Employee Share Ownership Trust (ESOT) at Eircom tomorrow.
CWU officials are furious that Scanlon accepted extra payments from the union to compensate for his extra workload at Eircom." for the full story go to the link below.
