It was with great excitement and a lot of nerves that I flew from Dublin last Wednesday for the latest Old Firm game. The flight was full of Celtic supporters which I love to see. The love affair between Celtic and the Irish is as strong as ever. 

 

 

 

 On arriving in Glasgow I headed straight to a pub on the Trongate to collect my tickets from a good friend of mine and fellow Dub, Terry. He's the real ticketmaster. Walking up the Gallowgate towards paradise with fellow Celtic supporters is a great feeling.

The atmosphere was very tense and the police presence was very notable as is always the case for Celtic and Rangers games. Inside the stadium, the noise was deafening and for me its the best derby game in the world. 3 goals, sending's off, a missed penalty, a last minute winner, this game had it all.

 A Celtic win had me and the Celtic supporters in heaven. It was the best atmosphere I was ever involved in. To all you fellow Celtic Postal workers supporters, Keep the faith. Alan.
